The Wintersteiger Trimdisc 71 employs a very fine high-speed ceramic stone with independent base and side edge bevel adjustment allowing the operator a high degree of control. The stone "polishes" the edge sharp so the ski or board stays sharper longer. This also minimizes the amount of material removed so your gear lasts longer. The operator stays hands-on through the entire process to monitor the quality of the tune, something a "Robot" machine can't allow.
